After three years of feuding, N-Dubz star Dappy once again clashes with rapper Sharpey major accusing him of sending ‘childish insults’. The dispute was sparked when Sharpey cancelled a recording session Dappy had booked with him. However, instead of letting the matter die down, he decided to contact the police.
The feud between two renowned grime rappers has reached new heights after N-Dubz star Dappy accused a fellow artist of sending him vile messages. After the alleged taunts, Sharpey Major, 31, cancelled a recording slot booked by N-Dubz star Dappy. Dappy’s management apologised on his behalf and offered the artist free concert tickets. Eventually, the Government’s anti-bullying campaign dropped the group.
The N-Dubz frontman is now facing criminal charges after the incident in Hatfield. Dappy had earlier been convicted of being armed with a knife and was handed a suspended jail term. But it’s now clear that Dappy didn’t mean to send any ‘childish insults’ to the rapper – his tweets were reportedly aimed at his fan base.
N-Dubz star Dappy Contostavlos
After an extended feud between two N-Dubz stars, Dappy Contostavlos and rapper Sharpey Major, the Greek musician has called the cops. The rapper claims that Dappy sent ‘childish insults’ to Sharpey’s father, prompting the latter to cancel a recording slot that he’d booked for the rapper.
The N-Dubz rapper Dappy has hit back at claims that he used the rapper’s stage name to harass and abuse women. During his trial, Serena Burton gave evidence that she was a victim of sexual harassment when she rejected his advances. Despite this, the woman said that the rapper had ‘acted in a childish way’ and’sent her vile messages’.
Dappy was found not guilty of two counts of common assault. Paul Greaney, Dappy’s lawyer, argued that the two witnesses were unreliable. Miss Burton admitted that she had received messages from Dappy fans who had branded her as ‘fake’. Dappy is due to release a new album, ‘Walk in da Park’, in October.
Section 4 Public Order offence
Dappy and Sharpey Major, two rap legends known for gritty lyrics, have gone to war, with the latter claiming the former has been sending ‘childish insults’ to his son. In response, Sharpey cancelled a recording slot that Dappy had reserved. After this, Sharpey called the police and claimed that Dappy had smeared his father on social media and taunted him.
Although rappers are usually portrayed as tough, it is important for them to show their vulnerable side too. Many people believe that rappers are strong and tough, but they are just like everyone else. If they are struggling, they need to learn how to openly talk about them without being shamed or degraded. And it should never make them feel weak for sharing their feelings.
Claim he sent ‘childish insults’
After a long feud, N-Dubz prima Dappy is reportedly quarrelling with another rapper, claiming the former sent ‘childish insults’ and cancelled a recording session that Sharpey had booked. Several reports have emerged that both artists have received threats and taunts over the internet. The 31-year-old Sharpey, who was dumped as dada Allan in March 2019, claimed that Dappy had taunted him through a text message. Dappy, whose real name is Costas Contostavlos, has said he is a ‘diva’ and had ‘cheated’ on his father.
Serena Burton gave evidence in the trial of N-Dubz rapper Dappy. She claimed that Dappy sexily pursued her and sent ‘childish insults’ via BBM. She also said that she received messages from Dappy fans. Dappy denies the allegations. The trial is ongoing, but Serena Burton is expected to testify at a subsequent hearing.
